Lovely decor and charming atmosphere made for a nice stay. The church bells chimed too often, which was a bit disruptive. Plenty of scenic walks nearby, including the Fairy Steps, perfect for outdoor lovers. Good food with generous portions as well.

I had a lovely stay for 2 nights, enjoying the delicious butternut squash soup and a hearty breakfast spread every morning. I relaxed in the cozy lounge and appreciated the beautiful walks right outside the door. The bathroom could have been a bit warmer, but it didn't spoil my experience at all. 😊

Great pub vibes and awesome food
Had such a nice stay! The pub really feels homey and the staff are super friendly. My room was comfy and had a sleek shower. Breakfast was solid—quality porridge and I loved the smoked haddock with poached egg. The only bummer was the mattress was a bit too high to hop onto easily. Still, those homemade chips were out of this world!
